Dr. Iftikhar A. Zahid
Dr. Zahid, 50, serves as a Director of American Energy Group and is based in Islamabad, Pakistan. Since joining American Energy Group as a Director in 2001, he has served as the key liaison officer in Pakistan managing the Company’s interests in the country.
Dr. Zahid currently serves as President of Hycarbex-American Energy Inc and Chairman of Hycarbex Asia Private Ltd, the parent company of Hycarbex-American Energy Inc. Previously, he was a Resident Director and Country Manager of the former subsidiary of American Energy Group in Pakistan. Prior to joining Hycarbex-American Energy Inc and American Energy Group, he was providing advisory and consulting services to multi-national organizations doing business in Pakistan. Dr. Zahid began his professional career working for the Pakistan Police Services and has over 20 years of experience in dealing with governmental agencies and authorities.
Dr. Zahid holds a Degree in Science from Murray College, Sailkot, Pakistan and earned his Degree in Medicine from the Dow Medical College, Karachi University, Pakistan in 1979.
